Whenever & wherever you get together for a special fund raising evening, corporate entertainment or club social evening, John Howe Presentations promise you an event to remember. Its different, its fun and its a winner. Whats more its simple to organise. Simply pick up the telephone and call our office and youll soon be READY FOR THE OFF!

So what happens at a Night at the Races? Well John Howe Presentations provide a professional Compere and Projectionist to host the evening and provide films of up-to-the-minute British horse races, with commentary by leading racing journalists. Before the races are shown, an introductory film sets the scene for the evenings entertainment. Your compere explains the rules and introduces the tote betting system. Even if the members of your audience have never seen a horse race before, they cant fail to understand whats going on. All they do is pick a number between 1 & 8. Each person bets on one or more of the eight horses in each race by buying a ticket(s) from the tote, on the number of the horse(s) they fancy. The tote is then closed. A sealed film is chosen by a member of the audience at random and then shown. The lucky guests collect their winnings, minus a percentage deducted for your expenses or charity donation. The betting re-opens for the next race and the fun begins all over again.
